Role Overview
This is a full-time-only* Senior Accounting Manager / Controller role overseeing Oak Services Group’s Accounting and Finance teams and client relationships while being the technical lead from an accounting perspective.
This Senior Accounting Manager / Controller role will serve as the main client-lead for our accounting services function, ensuring our clients receive accurate financial reporting, have robust internal controls, and have the right tools in place to support their growth and expansion.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Serve as the accounting subject matter expert for our accounting teams
• Function as client team-lead and manager, able to handle any client or personnel situation professionally.
• Design and build internal processes to standardize the client’s experience and mitigate execution risk.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records for multiple client organizations
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of accrual processes to continuously improve the accuracy of in-period reporting
• Deliver KPIs and handle FP&A to deliver real-time insights, track spending, and optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree a plus; CPA strongly preferred, other credentials a plus (MBA, CFA, CMA and more)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and in-house leadership roles
• Deep technical accounting expertise in U.S. GAAP, with an experience base that includes senior roles at Big Four or similar public/private accounting firms (working for multiple clients in different industries).
Experience in the following areas are all desired:
o Overseeing and maintaining controls and compliance
o Exposure to accounting standards in a variety of industries/vertical markets.
o Implementing scalable systems and processes to improve client performance
o Collaborative mindset with stakeholders at all levels in the client organization
Alternatively, experience in senior roles in industry (Controller, CFO)
To be successful, a candidate will have:
o Internal drive and motivation to help build an organization.
o A bias for action and an ownership mentality, with a reputation for rolling up your sleeves, working hard, and driving results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
o Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; QuickBooks and NetSuite experience preferred
o Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
o Strong presentation skills, able to prepare materials for the Board and audit / finance committees, present on top accounting judgments, control environment status, and high-risk issues.
o Discipline. Able to ensure rigorous confidentiality and integrity of financial data, and maintain the highest standards of ethics, judgment, and compliance.
This is a high-visibility, full-time, senior leadership position at an early stage company. Based on performance, we will be looking for Senior Managers who demonstrate excellence working with our delivery teams and clients for management team/equity roles.

Expected Compensation Range: $120,000-150,000
Salary range is based on expected experience levels and may be subject to change, depending on background, experience base and skillsets. The range is representative only and may be higher/lower after discussions with the candidate(s).

Role Overview
This is a full-time Senior Accountant* position, reporting to Senior Manager, Accounting Services (a controller/CFO level position). Senior Accountants are responsible for leading client engagements and delivering accounting expertise on a managed services / fractional services basis to Oak Services Group’s clients.
This Senior Accountant position has a primary responsibility for serving as a subject matter expert and delivering services for all parts of the accounting process: bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, reconciliations, close processes, financial statement creation, analysis of KPIs and delivery of insights and guidance coming from the data. Role Overview
This is a full-time Accountant* position delivering accounting expertise on a managed services / fractional services basis to Oak Services Group’s clients.
This role reports to a Senior Accountant in our accounting services area and is a participant on an account services team assigned to our clients. Accountants are responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities in support of client engagements. They have direct responsibilities for some (or all) of the accounting lifecycle and close processes. Accountants are primarily responsible for the execution of accounting tasks through the generation of financial reports. They will work closely with Senior Accountants who will oversee the close process and assist in handling ongoing accounting needs for our clients. This role is responsible for working diligently to ensure that our clients receive accurate financial reporting, have robust internal controls, and have the right tools in place to support their growth and expansion.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Serve as an accounting subject matter expert for our clients
• Function as on a client team, directly responsible for the supporting the client and our team throughout the accounting life cycle and close processes
• Identify and follow up on making appropriate changes to internal build processes to standardize the client’s experience and mitigate execution risk.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records for multiple client organizations
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of accrual processes to continuously improve the accuracy of in-period reporting
• Maintain a high level of communication internally and externally.
Qualifications
